Dr Fiona Waddell, Director, has more than 20 years experience in private practice.  She has a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.  She is registered with AHPRA and is a full Member of   The Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA) and the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and is an AHPRA-approved Clinical Supervisor. 


Dr Waddell works with clients to thoroughly assess and understand their mental health needs and challenges.  She aims to assist them in identifying triggers, understanding their nervous system and identifying strengths, coping resources and strategies that may help to reduce and manage anxiety and depressive symptoms.  She utilises a range of therapeutic modalities including:

 

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Sensorimotor Psychotherapy
  • Family Therapy
